		Kym is an energetic and encouraging speaker. She has spoken to many groups including MOPS or Mothers of PreSchoolers groups, state homeschool conventions, local homeschool groups, Rotary and Kiwanis Clubs, Civic Organizations, church groups, women's events and seminars, teen groups, and more! Kym is the mother of eight homeschooled children. She and her husband, Mark, have homeschooled since the mid 80s. They have graduated three students who are attending college and holding down jobs, internships and apprenticeships in their chosen fields. Sharing her love of motherhood and homeschooling on The 700 Club, on radio shows and in her writing, her passion shows . . . and it's contagious. Kym is author of the Learn & Do Unit Studies and Women: Living Life on Purpose. She was the newsletter editor for the statewide GHEA (Georgia Home Education Association) for two years, and the PEC (Palm Beach County's Parents Education Children) Newsletter Editor for about six years. She writes for many homeschooling publications including Homeschooling Today, The Old Schoolhouse, and Practical Homeschooling and now publishes an online magazine The Mother’s Heart. Kym writes to encourage moms in very practical, hands-on ways making the philosophical very workable. She shares the love of raising children, teaching preschoolers, being the mother of older children, homeschooling and the privilege of helping our children find God’s call in their lives.
