As homeschoolers, we have a long-term view of raising our children: beyond just today, this week, or this schoolyear. We are focused on them becoming productive adults in society. Part of that is preparing them for a job or a career.

Kym discusses the different options for trying on a career interest, turning those into resume builders, how to create that resume, and getting the practical work experience our children need.

From the wealth of warm and encouraging stores Kym is know for, she will share how typical teens have found atypical ways to jumpstart their careers – from apprenticeships to mentoring – get paid, create a resume, and be ahead of peers in preparation for the next steps in life.
