From the
experience and observation of homeschooling for
twenty-something years, Kym has come to one basic
realization: when planning for a new school year,
homeschool parents will be ahead of the game if they
prepare the basic courses and electives, then organize
their time and materials.
As
homeschoolers we wear many hats: teacher, researcher,
curriculum writer, tutor, assistant principle,
motivator, troubleshooter, taxi driver, and more.
Preparing and organizing ourselves helps us better
accomplish the jobs we have and creates more time for
other pursuits. As the great Lord Chesterfield says,
when we "take care of the minutes" our hours will be
better spent.
