MACHINE WRAPPED CORDING: How-To Make

Machine Wrapped Cording

A skirt to cover the small refrigerator in the basement. The fridge came home with the girls from their college dorm room. So we put it to good use cooling bottles of water in the basement.

This is the skirt. The top is felted, beaded and tufted with fabric.

A close-up view of the machine wrapped cording on
top of the trim at the bottom ruffle.

This is the cord I made.
You can see the table skirt I used it on here.

Aren't the colors beautiful!

The top of the skirt.
The "dot" on the top right has machine wrapped cording/
around it. The "dot" on the top left has none.

I used beads, sheep roving, free motion machine stitching
and cording on this project. It's wild, but it fits the space
and room.

View pictures of the basement room we use this in.

See how I made the cording.
